Order a Nest Box

The 901 Bluebirds proudly offer custom-built nest boxes designed by Don Warmbrod, one of our founding members and longtime trail leaders. Don’s unique two-hole design is a proven innovation that helps reduce competition and predation, allowing bluebirds and other native cavity-nesters to safely raise their young. 

Each box is handcrafted by Don using high-quality, red cedar wood and built to meet and exceed North American Bluebird Society (NABS) standards for safety, ventilation, and durability. These boxes are a cornerstone of our conservation success.

Nest boxes are available for $35 each (nest box only) or $65 for a complete setup, which includes the box, mounting pole, and predator guard. The full system is designed for long-term use and easy maintenance, providing a safe and secure environment for nesting birds. All materials and proceeds go directly toward supporting our club’s mission: funding new trails, educational outreach, and habitat expansion projects throughout the region.
